It won't be in time for you to be a June bride, but it's close.
ABS by Allen Schwartz has created three dresses in homage to the dresses worn by Kate Middleton (now Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge) and her saucy sister Pippa Middleton for her wedding to Prince William last month.
By mid-July, these lookers will be available at select Lord & Taylor stores and on LordandTaylor.com and they'll be available for a fraction of what the royals surely paid for their Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen frocks. The "Kate Bridal" gown of overlay lace will sell for $1,125, the "Pippa" form-fitting satin gown will be $425 and the "Catherine," similar to what the duchess wore to her evening reception, is a mere $475.
“We’re the fastest people in the world at identifying fashion trends,” Schwartz told TODAY.com. “That’s what I’m known for. Our dresses are all made in the U.S. and these are not knockoffs, they are inspired dresses.”
And what lovely inspiration it was.
